Volleyball Recap: Walnut Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Walnut had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Pine Grove Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in August.

Leading Walnut to victory were Preslee Robbins and Josie Meeks. Robbins had 11 digs, while Meeks had nine digs. That's the most digs Meeks has posted since back in August.

Walnut's win bumped their record up to 26-3-1. As for Pine Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9-2.

Walnut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ripley on the 20th. As for Pine Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Falkner on the 20th.
