Baseball Game Preview: Weir Red Riders vs. Berkeley Springs Indians

Weir is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Berkeley Springs a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Weir Red Riders will host the Berkeley Springs Indians at 5:00 p.m. Weir has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Weir lost 13-3 to Wheeling Park on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Berkeley Springs came up short against Hancock on Monday and fell 7-2.

Berkeley Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Maconaughey, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI was Maconaughey's first of the season.

Berkeley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Weir, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
