Volleyball Game Preview: Wauwatosa East Red Raiders vs. West Allis Hale Huskies + Official Tickets

Wauwatosa East has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Allis Hale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Red Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Wauwatosa East is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Brookfield Central.

Wauwatosa East was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Brookfield Central work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Wauwatosa East saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brynn Kuglitsch had eight digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Kuglitsch.

Meanwhile, West Allis Hale came up short against Germantown on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 25-12.

West Allis Hale dropped their record down to 12-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wauwatosa East, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-10.

Everything went Wauwatosa East's way against West Allis Hale in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Wauwatosa East made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Red Raiders repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
