North and Palisades squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but North had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 76-60 to the Palisades Dolphins. The Stars' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 28-7. As for Palisades, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palisades, they will take on San Gabriel Academy at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.
