Volleyball Recap: Thornwood Comes Up Short on the Road Against Brooks

Thornwood kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Brooks Eagles.

While Thornwood ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17.

Brooks has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thornwood will square off against Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brooks, they will challenge Whitney Young at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
