Owen Nesbitt turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Monday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Spaulding's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 1-5-1 when he doesn't).
