Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the McIntosh Chiefs. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost four in a row.

Anjali Smith paced Northside's offense, picking up six kills. Smith got some help from Lacie Watts and her seven assists. Aiyanna Rebant controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

McIntosh has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Northside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lambert on the 8th. As for McIntosh, they will take on Etowah in a tournament on Saturday.
