Softball Game Preview: Columbia Christian Crusaders vs. Bradley Bears

The Columbia Christian Crusaders will face off against the Bradley Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Columbia Christian has struggled recently with seven defeats in a row, while Bradley will arrive with four straight wins.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Columbia Christian's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bearden on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bradley). They were the clear victors by a 21-2 margin over Lafayette County on Tuesday. Considering the Bears have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Columbia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Bradley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
