Softball Recap: Adna Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

Adna won the last time they faced Napavine and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Pirates have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Adna's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Napavine, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adna will face off against Winlock at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
