Softball Game Preview: Cowan Blackhawks vs. Marion Giants

The Cowan Blackhawks are taking a road trip to face off against the Marion Giants at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Monday, Cowan didn't have quite enough to beat Blackford and fell 3-2. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cowan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Norris, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Mississinewa hit Marion with a eight-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Giants lost 11-0 to the Indians.

Cowan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Marion, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-7.
