Basketball Game Preview: Bucklin Red Aces vs. Hodgeman County Longhorns

The Bucklin Red Aces will square off against the Hodgeman County Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bucklin will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Bucklin didn't have too much trouble with Pawnee Heights as they won 54-40. Given the Red Aces' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Tigers are ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Hodgeman County was able to grind out a solid win over Meade on Tuesday, taking the game 36-27.

Bucklin pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Hodgeman County, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Bucklin beat Hodgeman County 45-32 in their previous meeting on Thursday. Does Bucklin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hodgeman County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
