Volleyball Recap: Crown Point Starts Season with Victory Against Munster

Crown Point gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Munster Mustangs. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Crown Point easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16.

Bella Del Real was the offensive standout of the game as she had 14 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Crown Point and Munster will both be playing Southwood the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
