After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christian Academy, Borden was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the New Washington Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

While Borden might've won, it sure wasn't easy: New Washington scored at least 16 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-11.

Leading Borden to victory were Alivia Thomas and Aubrey Miller. Thomas had seven aces and four digs, while Miller had ten digs. The dominant performance gave Thomas a new career-high in aces.
