Basketball Recap: Westfield Comes Up Short

Westfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 47-40 to the Lake Braddock Bruins. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 47-35 to them when the teams met back in November of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Lake Braddock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-18.

Coming up, Westfield will challenge South Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westfield is facing South Lakes at the right time seeing as South Lakes is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lake Braddock, they will face off against West Potomac at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
