Pekin is a perfect 4-0 against Galesburg since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Dragons will head out to face off against the Silver Streaks at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pekin fell victim to Washington and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Galesburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to Geneseo.

Galesburg's goal came courtesy of Eliana Juarez, who's now up to 15 this season.

Galesburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Pekin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season.

Everything went Pekin's way against Galesburg when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Pekin made off with a 9-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
