Timberline skates past Central Kitsap with ease

Recap: Timberline Blazers vs. Central Kitsap Cougars

The Timberline Blazers stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Central Kitsap on the road to the tune of 70-36. The victory was familiar territory for Timberline who now have five in a row.

Timberline got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Darrell Gipson out in front who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gipson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydn Ward, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Timberline has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Central Kitsap, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timberline will face off against the Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peninsula is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Central Kitsap, they will head out on the road to face off against the Tornados at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yelm is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
