Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Franklin

It's playoff time, and Franklin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Milwaukee Bradley Tech Trojans with a sharp 65-39 win on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Sabers have posted since January 28th.

Franklin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madeline Lemke, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave Lemke a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Pritchard, who went 6-for-11 on her way to 15 points and three steals.

Franklin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win (which was Franklin's third in a row) raised their record to 7-17. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Milwaukee Bradley Tech, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

As of now, neither Franklin nor Milwaukee Bradley Tech have any future games scheduled.
