Benton put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Glenbrook Apaches as the Benton Tigers made off with a 12-1 victory. 12 seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Benton's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs over those games. As for Glenbrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season.

Benton will head out on the road to take on St. Louis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Benton's pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so St. Louis Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
