Baseball Recap: Notre Dame-Green Pond Victorious

After losing to Salisbury Township the last time they met, Notre Dame-Green Pond decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders had just enough and edged out the Falcons 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted against the Falcons since April 5, 2018.

Paul Smith was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Michael Wachter was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Notre Dame-Green Pond now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Salisbury Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
