Basketball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 67-26 loss at the hands of the Grinnell Tigers. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 78-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Grinnell, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Fairfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-30 defeat against Washington on the 24th. Grinnell has also already played their next contest (against Vinton-Shellsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
