Softball Recap: Oxnard Yellowjackets vs. Centennial Golden Hawks
Oxnard posted their closest victory since March 6th on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Centennial Golden Hawks 5-4.
Destinee Herrera made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run.
