Lake Norman Charter had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles on Friday, sneaking past 3-2. The Knights are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 25 straight.

Lake Norman Charter was led to victory by Ella Dobbins and London Stewart. Dobbins had 13 digs, while Stewart had 13 kills, 13 digs, and seven aces. Stewart is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 27 games she's played.

Lake Norman Charter's win bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, their defeat ended a nine-match streak of away wins and brought them to 28-4.
