Basketball Game Preview: Coleville Wolves vs. Excel Christian Warriors

The Coleville Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Excel Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Coleville and six for Excel Christian.

Coleville is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Sage Ridge on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Coleville had to suffer through a 71-26 loss at the hands of Sage Ridge. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-19.

Meanwhile, Excel Christian took a blow against Pyramid Lake on Wednesday, falling 85-47. The Warriors were down 65-41 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Excel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Coleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Coleville came out on top in a nail-biter against Excel Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 37-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coleville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
