Volleyball Game Preview: Clinton Christian Academy Patriots vs. Christian Learning Center Mustangs

The Clinton Christian Academy Patriots will head out to challenge the Christian Learning Center Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Clinton Christian Academy beat Overland Christian 3-1. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Eagle recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Clinton Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Carissa Compton, who had 20 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Compton has posted over her last five contests.

Meanwhile, Christian Learning Center was able to grind out a solid victory over El Dorado Christian on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

In the three sets Christian Learning Center was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 18-25, 25-12, 25-13.

Christian Learning Center now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Clinton Christian Academy, their record now sits at 12-4-1.

Clinton Christian Academy beat Christian Learning Center 3-1 when the teams last played back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
