Soccer Recap: New Milford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

New Milford lost against Bethel back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Green Wave fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, New Milford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Bethel are ranked fourth).

This is the second loss in a row for New Milford and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Bethel, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, New Milford will venture away from home to take on Immaculate at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Immaculate's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so New Milford's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bethel, they will host McMahon at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
