Basketball Recap: Idea Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Ron Brown

On Saturday, Idea faced Ron Brown in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Idea Timberwolves fell just short of the Ron Brown Monarchs by a score of 56-53. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Monarchs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Ron Brown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Darrin Rado led the charge by going 6 of 12 en route to 19 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lennox Walker, who posted 16 points and five rebounds.

Idea now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Ron Brown, their record is now 7-5.
