Lake Howell extended their postseason success on Saturday against Winter Springs. They put the hurt on the Winter Springs Bears with a sharp 52-31 win. The Silverhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Lake Howell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christiana Glover, who posted 15 points. Glover's afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mazaiah Marc, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Summer Mason, who scored six points and three steals. Mason is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played. Heaven Sims was another key player, putting up 11 points and six boards.

Lake Howell is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for Winter Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.

Lake Howell and Winter Springs are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lake Howell will square off against Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season. As for Winter Springs, they will face off against Tocoi Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tocoi Creek will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Winter Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
