Basketball Recap: Council Piles Up the Points Against Cascade

Council put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 51-23 win over the Cascade Ramblers. The Lumberjacks pushed the score to 33-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Ramblers had little chance of recovering from.

Cascade's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addie Hull, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 10 points and eight rebounds, and Nova Guest, who posted four points.

Council pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.8 points. As for Cascade, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Council will head out to take on Compass Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cascade, they will venture away from home to face off against Hagerman at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
