Softball Game Preview: St. Joseph Catholic Eagles vs. BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs

The St. Joseph Catholic Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Joseph Catholic can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They lost 21-1 to The Woodlands Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, BVCHEA HomeSchool unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 13-8 to Brazos Christian on Tuesday. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Kaylee Crump was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February of 2024.
