Basketball Recap: Dunbar Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dunbar had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 victory over the Orr Spartans. Winning may never get old, but the Mightymen sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Dunbar pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Orr, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Dunbar will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on February 18th. Orr does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
