The victory made it two in a row for Roanoke Rapids and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for South Granville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Roanoke Rapids took their victory against South Granville when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
