Basketball Recap: Seguin Continues Home Dominance on Friday

There's no place like home for Seguin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 45-39 win over the Edison Golden Bears on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-42 back in December of 2024.

It was another big night for Corey Dailey, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cameron Juarez-Bruns, who posted four points and five steals.

Seguin's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-14. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Edison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-17.

Coincidentally, Seguin and Edison will both be playing Highlands the next time they take the court. Seguin will head out to face Highlands at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Edison will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
