Football Recap: Luke Page's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Worthington Kilbourne over Walnut Ridge + How To Watch

Worthington Kilbourne and Walnut Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Worthington Kilbourne had to settle for second. They took a hard 58-42 fall against the Scots. The Wolves have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Page, who rushed for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards and one score. Another signal caller making a difference was Jackson Szabo, who threw for 307 yards and three TDs.

Worthington Kilbourne's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Walnut Ridge, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Worthington Kilbourne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walnut Ridge, they will face off against Big Walnut at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles' defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so the Scots' offense will have their work cut out for them.
