            Baseball Recap: Millis Mohawks vs. Dedham Marauders        
        
		
        
        
            Millis extended their losing streak  to six  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 2-7 in the process. They took  a  15-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dedham Marauders. The Mohawks were not able to make up for their  loss to the Marauders from their previous meeting  back in May of 2024.
  Nick Hohman and  Aidan Sugrue did some serious damage despite the final result:  Hohman  went 1-for-5 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double, while  Sugrue  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  double and one  RBI. Hohman also  brought in an  RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Andrew Morse, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
As for Dedham, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.6 runs over those games.
 On Dedham's side,  Ryan Laughter was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs.  Edwin Rodriguez was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Millis will  square off against  rival Norwood  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dedham is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Medfield  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
