Basketball Recap: Shead Comes Up Short

Shead suffered their biggest loss since January 18th on Monday. They took a blow against the Machias Bulldogs, falling 64-37. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Shead is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Machias, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shead will head out to face off against Jonesport-Beals at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Machias, they will head out on the road to take on Deer Isle-Stonington at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
