Berkeley and Priory squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Berkeley had to settle for second. They lost 69-48 to the Priory Panthers. The Yellowjackets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Priory's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kasten Eggers led the charge by putting up 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Teddy Xanthopoulos, who posted 15 points.

Berkeley's defeat dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Priory, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-6.

Berkeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Priory, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Priory Panthers duke it out with Santa Cruz Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (they have won six straight at home, while Santa Cruz won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
