Softball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Frankfort can now relate to. They fell just short of the Winfield Generals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Frankfort saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dayahna Imes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 29-2. As for Winfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Frankfort nor Winfield have any future games scheduled.
