Baseball Game Preview: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers

The Pendleton Bulldogs will challenge the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pendleton has five straight victories, Christ Church Episcopal has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Pendleton beat Liberty 10-6.

Braiden McAlister looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Garrett Williams was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ayden Clay, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Christ Church Episcopal came up short against J.L. Mann on Friday and fell 10-5.

Christ Church Episcopal also got a good showing from Will Bolton, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Bolton a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Brady Cisson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Bo Lowrance was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Christ Church Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Pendleton, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.
