Volleyball Game Preview: Jupiter Warriors vs. Spanish River Sharks

The Jupiter Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Spanish River Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jupiter has three straight wins, Spanish River has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Jupiter earned a 3-1 victory over Dwyer.

Jupiter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Spanish River came up short against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Spanish River ultimately came up short, they really made Dr. Joaquin Garcia work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 26-28, 25-18, 29-27.

Jupiter pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Spanish River, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Jupiter's way against Spanish River in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Jupiter made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
