Baseball Recap: Steeleville Takes a Loss

Steeleville was the 6-4 winner over Marissa/Coulterville when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Meteors by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday.

Steeleville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Ingles, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Steeleville's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Marissa/Coulterville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Steeleville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marissa/Coulterville, they have already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against New Athens on the 14th.
