Baseball Recap: Manzanola Falls Short of Eads in the Playoffs

Manzanola and Eads squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Manzanola had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 21-0. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Manzanola's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Eads, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Manzanola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eads, they will challenge McClave at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
