Basketball Recap: Mesick Bulldogs vs. Brethren Bobcats
The Mesick Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 76-25 loss at the hands of Brethren. Mesick has not had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Mesick still got an impressive performance from Rylee Blach, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blach has scored all season.
Mesick has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Brethren, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Mesick will head out on the road to challenge the Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brethren, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pentwater is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
