Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Central Falls brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past Barrington 8-1 on Saturday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Central Falls' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Central Falls' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-17. As for La Salle Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1.

Everything went La Salle Academy's way against Central Falls in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as La Salle Academy made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
