            Basketball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Bears vs. Arapaho Indians        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Vici  last Thursday, Cheyenne/Reydon came back down to earth. The Cheyenne/Reydon Bears took  a  39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arapaho Indians. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in January.
 Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Kimbo Denney, who  posted nine  points along with six  boards and three  steals.  Rossi Baker was another key player,  putting up nine points.
Cheyenne/Reydon's loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Arapaho,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
 Cheyenne/Reydon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  39-34  defeat against Leedey on the 14th. As for Arapaho, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hinton at 6:30  p.m.  on February 4, 2025.
