Football Recap: Jones County Comes Up Short at Home Against Bennett County + How To Watch

Jones County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 46-12 defeat at the hands of the Bennett County Warriors on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Rush Oneill was nothing short of spectacular for Bennett County: he threw for 251 yards and six TDs on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 61 yards on only five carries.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jones County will host Faith at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bennett County, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on New Underwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
