Softball Recap: Baylor Comes Up Short

Baylor suffered their biggest loss since March 14, 2025 on Saturday. They lost 9-1 to the Gibbs Eagles.

Baylor has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season. As for Gibbs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-9-2.

Looking ahead, Baylor will square off against Knoxville Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gibbs, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-4 defeat against Alcoa on the 11th.
