Soccer Recap: Derryfield Beats Berlin for Their Second Straight Win

Derryfield barely beat Berlin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let the Mountaineers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Friday. Derryfield might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by four goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Derryfield and bumps their season record up to 8-4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Berlin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4-3.

Derryfield and Berlin are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Cougars will challenge Manchester West on Wednesday. As for Berlin, they will square off against Fall Mountain on Wednesday. Fall Mountain's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
