Softball Recap: Lewis Mills' Run of Six Straight Wins Now Over

Lewis Mills suffered their biggest loss since May 2, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the RHAM Raptors, falling 11-4. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raptors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Lewis Mills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michaela Larose, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Lewis Mills moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for RHAM, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Lewis Mills will square off against Simsbury at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. RHAM will be paying especially close attention to Lewis Mills' game: after Lewis Mills faces off against Canton, they'll take on RHAM again at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
