Chelmsford faced Wellesley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Sunday. The Lions never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The result came thanks to Matthew Stuart's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Chelmsford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Latham, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Keegan Briere also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Chelmsford's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Wellesley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 19-7 record.

As of now, neither Chelmsford nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
