Basketball Game Preview: Beechwood Tigers vs. Ludlow Panthers

Beechwood is 1-9 against Ludlow since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Beechwood Tigers face off against the Ludlow Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Beechwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup last Monday with ease, bagging a 68-32 victory over Villa Madonna. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Ludlow slipped by Carroll County 49-48 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ludlow.

Ludlow is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Beechwood, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Beechwood came up short against Ludlow when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 50-37. Can Beechwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
